Mine connects almost instantly. On my phone 2mins is a long time for it to connect. It generally connects to the satellites within 30secs even indoors. Initially when i got the phone it took a while to connect, thereafter it was fast

Where about you live? And is that with or without connecting to the internet?
 
I've had problems picking up satellites, indoors and out - but sometimes it connects quickly too. Go figure.
 
Just trying to figure out if my GPS is faulty. I always seem to only get 1 bar for north on my garmin but that comes and goes.

99% of the time it connects almost instantly... 1% of the time it takes forever sometimes more or less in the same place it was fast before :confused:
 
Does anyone here know how to use PPPoE on the Nokia 5800? I am using RouteSentry at hoime and need the phone to connect to my WLAN via PPPoE
 
Heads up: Garmin has released an update for Garmin XT:

Changes made from version 5.00.40 to 5.00.50:
  • Provide 'Exit' option to the Activate Software page.
  • Correct the turn preview page in landscape orientation.
  • Correct an error that occurs when the 'Arrival' button is selected.
  • Correct the text color of the main map page when displayed in night mode.

Hi all. Just want to know if there is a good multiplayer online texas hold em poker game available yet for this phone. Preferably free but i won't mind paying to join a well established network like a client that connects to the facebook network or something similiar that also has a desktop client which provides an already large player base.

I searched a bit but couldn't find anything. Hope you guys had more luck. Thanks.
 
so yeah i got my phone eventually and its AWESOME!!!

I am on vodacom but it doesn't want to upgrade the firmware... anyone got some ideas?

I'm still cautious about changing the code. I'd much rather wait for the update to be edited by Vodacom and to be released officially.
 
That could be something like 6 months and you'll be stuck with all the vodacom branding:sick:
