did not work so i formatted memory card.

I have a red one from MTN, which product code should i change my phone to to upgrade to V31?

I've tried about 15 codes now and it still says no updates available.

If I click on Read Values is it suppose to show the values in the blocks??

Mine doesn't. And even if I type in the new product code and Write Values it still doesn't pick up the update with NSU.

Install JAF

Run OGM_JAF_PKEY_Emulator_v 5.exe first

Then just click Go (then click OK on the error message)

Then click BB5 at the top, tick Prod Manager in the middle, then click Service on the right, then Read Values should bring up values.

But make sure NO OVI Suite or PC Suite is even open, not even sync.

Basically anything that interacts with your phone is a no-no

Ok. It worked after I closed PC Suite. Thanks for that.
 
Updated my 5800 from v21 to v31 this evening via NSU. Everything working 100% and it's faster.
 
Anyone know of a good guide that tells you how to update the firmware offline? I.e. Download the firmware file and save it to your pc, then use a program to update your phones software with the firmware file already saved on your pc
