Nokia 8 Sirocco

Nokia1 Android 10 update coming soon. I think I'm going to wait before updating from Pie.

I don't need all these issues with 10.
 
Before July or in July.
Pie OK. Had its issues too. But it's stable. Phone has never crashed ever.
And everything works :thumbsup:
 
Any word on whether the WiFi and Fingerprint sensor issues have been acknowledged by HMD Nokia? It's really frustrating, even with WPA2 disabled.

So frustrating I've changed phones...

Can't believe they'd let such a fundamental problem persist for so long.
 
Mine is busy downloading software update - Android 10 V5.140
Hopefully this fixes some of the issues!
 
Android 10 V5.140 has fixed my WIFI issues. It does not disconnect anymore and the signal is back to normal.
The blank screen after unlocking the phone which happens randomly has not been fixed for me.

Did this make a difference? This has been my favorite phone by far, but damn this wifi issue. Took me 6 attempts to refresh to see an update pending.

To be honest, as long as the wifi is fixed, I don't mind pressing the screen button again.

Bluetooth still an issue my car still doesn't auto connect again, so i need to switch bluetooth off and on again every time :(- Wifi seems better but will take a few days to confirm
 
I downloaded the latest system update this morning. The Wifi issue seems to be resolved. It connects quickly to the router and the signal is definitely stronger. I would call it as resolved.

The Fingerprint unlock issue remains though. I think the issue is most prominent when I unlock the screen a couple milliseconds after the "quick view" appears on the locked screen.

Wifi seems better, wouldn't quite call it resolved yet though. Still loses signal more frequently than before Android 10, and it seems to get hotter now :( My bluetooth connects to the car, but after every restart it forgets my smart watch.

WiFi STILL not working properly here.

Can't even use it as a device to cast things to other devices on a network. Useless.
 
I seem to be getting automatic restarts every couple of minutes. Makes the phone pretty much dysfunctional. Does anyone know of this issue and have any suggestions on how /where to address it?
