Depends. How is your C++ knowledge? Especially with the QT framework?

Should not be too hard to port apps considering they are running the same resolution. But as far as OS level goes there is a big difference between Linux and EPOC (Symbian).

Over the years I collected a huge number of now much-loved Symbian apps for my Nokia 6600. As we are on the subject, does anyone know if I will be able to use them on the Nokia E63 despite it apparently having a considerably advanced version of the Symbian OS?

Android is inferior compared to Meego. But you can run Android on a N900 if you really want to.
