Me too. Android and iOS are clunky in comparison.

A few months ago I thought it's time too look elsewhere and got a Nexus 6P. I really tried to make the break and move with the majority.

But I'm back to the 950 LX running W10M 1607. It's like a breath of fresh air using a modern UI instead of the antique static icons grid.

Keen to see how the reviewers find the HP x3 Elite. Really miss the six inches on the 1520.

+1 Also on the 950XL coming from the 1520.

Tried several new Android phones, even the stupid curved S8. It feels like some ancient abacus being dusted off since the Roman empire collapsed.

Just can't let go of my 950XL's and the Windows experience on a phone.

I hope Microsoft releases something similar when they plan to get back in the game (again) before the Lumia's start dying on me.

Just a word of encouragement @Zenthrax :D I've really enjoyed my 950XL, until the battery life became totally dismal. What pushed me over the edge though, is when I found out that the hands-free didn't want to work on my new Audi A4, all I could hear is a muffled sound over the speakers. Then I became interested in Android Auto over the Audi's MMI, and obviously the app isn't available on Mobile. I've had a total hatred for Droids up to now, but realized that I have to make the switch. I settled for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, mainly because of it's excellent battery life. After I installed Arrow Launcher, Office, OneDrive and Cortana, I started feeling at home. The Xiaomi UI is a pleasure to work with, by far outclassing the dreadful Droid interfaces I had to put up with until now. When I had to set up two Capitec apps in the branch, I was greatly impressed to find the Spaces option, whereby you can set up a completely separate profile, and for instance, have two WhatsApp installations on different numbers.

So, I realized resistance is futile, and what a pleasure just to have all the apps available without a problem! Even though I've been bothered by the lack of consistency of the UI's across apps, it doesn't bother me any longer. I've now fully settled into my new workflow, with most of the MS functionality syncing with my laptops :whistling: Goodbye my old friend, I do sometimes miss your pretty face, but it was just not meant to be...

Battery life issue is usually if you've been on insider fast for ages. With all the dodgy builds in there you need to reset and restore the phone quite often to avoid older issues. Insider release preview is rock solid and battery life is not an issue at all.

Yea if there's an app issue changing is a must, but for my uses it does everything and no drama syncing to the car either.
As you saw and now experience, there is a lot to set up and sign in etc. on android.... something you don't have to deal with on windows 10 mobile.

.. and don't get me started on the daily 10-30 updates on androids
