Nokia Lumia 930

Got something locally... Frosted rather than clear :( but didn't want to wait for international orders...
 
Got the phone, loving the hell out of it. So fast it's crazy.

Some weird design decisions (power button middle of side, some weirdness with notifications etc) but otherwise quite lovely to use. It's 8:59pm, been on the go since 5am and I'm down to 35% with podcasts and the usual email/whatsapp traffic all day.

Wow, green?

You make me want to upgrade from my 925 right now.

I wanted silver but they only had black.

I see they are generous with the colors this time around. I want an orange one.
 
Just got the Denim update... Seems that the green tiles are more bland and less bright :(. Am I going crazy??? :D

So far the only complaint I have is that the battery life isn't amazing. It's good and nearly lasts me from 6 am to 10 pm but I've had better

Yes dude, don't leave us hanging. Just checked and nothing on my MTN phone.
 
Has anybody moved from a Lumia 920 to a Lumia 930? How big a difference is it? My contract is up for renewal and I am not sure if I should upgrade to the 930 or wait for the Windows 10 flagship (if that ever materialises)
 
The camera is a LOT faster! "Hey Cortana" enabled when in the car is also quite handy.

I'm waiting for the L930 replacement, still happy to wait with my 920.
 
I got the 930 on Sunday as an upgrade. Figured that I might just share some things with you guys as I am still busy setting it all up and settling in.

One thing about this phone though, the build quality is absolutely solid compared to most other phones. A bit on the heavy side, but that is a plus for me.

Want to sync your text and clipboard between your device and laptop / desktop / other mobile device? I started using Kopy earlier today. Before then I was using pushbullet on Android / Windows laptop. Now Kopy seems a bit easier with a nice temporary session option as well. Pushpin is a third party app for pushbullet on Windowsphone for those who are inerested.
