i havnt heard of it being available yet on any contract and wont for a while, they still trying to cash on the 6680 afaik. Autopage is selling it tho at like somewhere close to R4500

A co-worker of mine got his N70 last week from Nashua, and every time you make a phone call, it wants to connect to the internet (ie asks which APN to use to connect) ... wtf is that all about?

Thats what Nokia/Exactmobile told him as well.
I have learnt though that they will always tell you the phone needs a software upgrade if you say something is wrong. 2 upgrades on my 6680 helped jack ****

They say this quite often if they themselves do not know the answer but hope a fresh 'whack' will sort you out.
On the other hand, there are reasons new firmware / software versions are released: fixes, updates, etc.

Saw the N70 in the Vodacom Winter catalogue on Weekender contract. Nobody else see it?
Would love to get it.
Unfortunately I only upgrade in April 2007 :-(

AFAIK, the N70 is readily available. All outlets are literally punting this phone.
They seem to still be some way off before the N80 will be available. (have headr anything from 1-3 months)
