Nokia N8 & MTN

I am due to renew my contract with MTN and were in the outlet at the Waterfront, and was looking for the Nokia N8, and the Samsung S2. The consultant told me that they could not offer me the N8 as it had been discontinued, is this in fact true, as the phone has only been in SA for about a year now, if possible I would prefer a smartphone with an FM transmitter.

consultant is talking BS, the n8 is still available, Nokia are still actively promoting the phone especially with the recent Anna (and future belle) symbian upgrade and other stores still
have stock, not to mention mtn had the n8 in there September contract deals.The consultant needs to either be trained or reported for lying to customers

anyway as for your fm transmiter question except for the n8, c7-00 has a built in FM transmitter.
not sure on other brands

The C7 only has a NFC chip over the N8. I`d much rather go for the N8 Its cheaper too! (Because its older then the C7)

Its a lower model then the N8 but because its newer its morexpensive the n8 is very cheap on contract especial at mtn

well dont know if you watched the movie but in a nut shell she (julia roberts) wants to buy stuff at some snooty shop coz the dude (ricahrd gere) gave her bucks or his credit card or somethiong and the shop asistance snubs her (coz well she doesnt look classy being a prostitute) so she goes back to the hotel sobing and the manager takes her to other shops she , goes crazy buying stuff then goes back to the first snooty and calmly tells her you work on comiision dont you? and shows her all the crap she bought and sez big mistake.

so if you get the n8 you go back to the consultant and say you the one who told me its dicontinuid? you work on comisiopn dont you? well big mistake.

Yes i have a flair for the dramatic but its will be awesome
