my mate had baught a vodafone live n70 out of the box, a week later the phone was dead.

Took it to nokia and they had to replace the board of the phone, he used to work for nokia and he was told on arival that the vodafone firmware can damage the phone

now this kind of report is not very nice to hear!!

Why don't you guys take a phone from Nashua Mobile or the new Virgin Mobile.I was at Nashua Mobile to get my N80 and was told about the new tread that is starting in September 1, that with your current cell number, let it be Vodacom ,Mtn,Cellc etc, you can switch networks and keep your 082 number, so you will never loose your number.Vodacom will buy u out of the contract from Mtn and you will keep your 083 number.

Anyone else noticed that the N80 is not on the nseries site anymore?
I even went in via the Global and Europe sites, it takes you to the nseries site, but the N80 has been removed ... some more serious problems with the phone maybe?

That first link is the one I am talking about ... only shows N70, N90 and N91

It's not on the Middle East and Africa pages (probably set using cookies).

Change your location, and you should see it as an option.
