Nokia N85

We took an early look at this handset some months ago in our designer phones roundup, and it scored quite well. This time around, we take a closer look at this model from Nokia.

I have one and am reasonably happy with it although it is currently in for repairs to a faulty ear piece. Voices audibility fades in and out from loud to distant and muffled, apparently this is a reasonably common affliction.

Also in bright sunlight the screen is illegible.

Other than that a fairly strong handset, easy to use as are all Nokias (same/similar interface/software).
