This past 3 days heard stories from few different people.
The Blackberry owners who wants to throw the phone against the wall.
Bad voice and freezing phone.

And then the 2 nokia n9 guys, they did go to mtn to hear after 1 month if they could reverse there mistakes, and get a decent phone. One said he will get insurance and then the phone will need replacement.
Seems the n9 freezes, and then they would like to remove the battery, and then you cannot do it. And then, you sit with your finger in your ..... . These 2 cannot continue using the phone.

Lol, on the Nokia N9 the phone has never frozen with me :) and if your friends have a problem..ask them to reset the phone and that should fix it. The power button is the master button if you want to call it that. The phone will turn off if pressed. No battery removal needed. The N9 is an amazing phone and the best Ive had in a long line of phones

I would love to get a N9. Would install ICS on it....

Press and hold the power button until the phone gives three short confirmation vibrations (around 8 seconds). Should be in the manual.

I'd take a Nokia N9 over a BlackBerry any day of the week.

Nokia n9 i can say is the best looking phone out there. I currently own one and I am having no issues at all. It's just sad that certain apps aren't supported by meego sigh... besides that i don't have any problems with it

They say it freezes. Press anything any time and nothing happens.

They should be able to take it to Nokia and have it re-flashed, or they can re-flash themselves (and maybe beat others in SA to getting PR1.2 with face recognition in the photo app, voice calls to GTalk and all the other new features in PR1.2).
