Im in durban And its raining pretty heavy here right now, so theres like 100% cloud cover, i just tried GPS worked perfectly for abt 10min, then lost the signal, status says waiting for GPS. When i checked the satellite status it went from 4 full bars down to 3 empty bars.

Oh wow! i spent half the night (last night) and almost the whole day today searching forums , doing updates on software and applying patches only to have just figured out that bluetooth causes an interference when trying to connect via USB, I turned my bluetooth off and Viola ! success ! dam feel like such a monkey! well atleast its sorted if any1 else having same problem try removing bluetooth dongle, then connect via USB.
BTW : almost every site i came across that had similar problems, no1 found a solution! strange would have thought some1 wud have picked this up.

my only gripe with the phone is the sound quality of the mp3 player ... its mediocre at best ... will change that in the next couple of days by getting a better ear buds .... :)

@adamr
The MP3 player sounds incredible on mine, have u tried adjusting the equalizer?

nah ... gonna get better earphones, suppose im use to my Z5500 and logic 7 in the car ... higher frequencies are good, lower freq too much mid range bass ... thats the ear phones ... good thing these new ear phones are not proprietry only nokia fits in the phone type of ear phones

EDIT: tried my normal run of the mill PC headphones with mic and it def sounds alot better than the nokia ear phones, so def to the shop to get some high quality ear buds ...

with the standard ear pieces? ... bass seems too flat.... have it set on extra bass setting

Oh yes , sorry u are very correct!
Through the normal stereo speakers it sound really good but on the earphones, dam, not good at all. I think nokia surely could have afforded better earpieces at the current asking price for a n95

The N80's earphones is much better than the N95's earphones. I must agree. that it's not good.

But on the other hand, the stereo speakers of the N95 is much better than ANY cellphone speakers I've ever heard before.

If only the N80's earphones was able to work on the N95. But the connection is different. But hey, I can buy any headphones I want to use it with the N95.:D ;)

how do i get push email to work ... do i need special settings? got an axxess account can i use the normal SMTP etc settings? ...

have to add: this is by far the best phone out there ... well built, awesome in every department ... nothing comes close .... (me having had a SE k800i and a nokia n80) ....

Well said. I thought it was going to be difficult for a phone to beat the N80. Then all of a sudden the N95 arrived.:D

Does anyone know where to get a Screen Protector and a Car Holder for the N95?

I want to mount my N95 in the car when I'm driving for the times I will be using the GPS.
