Nokia N95 @ iTalk

how do i get push email to work ... do i need special settings? got an axxess account can i use the normal SMTP etc settings? ...

So N95 does actually fully support of BlackBerry Push Email???? WOW!!! Give me 3 weeks (until I port out of Nashua on the 14th of May).

So gsmarena has a review of the N95 cam, rather nice... and they compared it to a real camera.

Nokia N95's glamorous presence along with the latest bunch of cameraphones marks the beginning of difficult times for common small compact cameras. The trend of replacing the compact camera with photo mobiles has been long spoken about and it will surely remain one of the hottest topics for some time. Yet, putting this trend in practice is going to take long time. For example, many users already perceive Sony Ericsson K800 as a full-functioning substitute for a common camera; its drawback is its resolution: 3 megapixels only. It does not mean that three megapixels are not enough for the production of a good-quality image; it is when mobile phones are confronted with standard cameras that the cameras score higher as their minimum resolution is 5 megapixels.

And here comes Nokia N95 with its 5 megapixels, auto focus, and very good optics. Yet, it lacks manual exposure settings and a high-quality xenon flash.

Good review for N95. :D I love my phone even more.

More views on the phone ... charged it overnight, took it off the charger at 5:20AM (left for PTA) ... had a video calll with the GF at about 6AM for about 20min (driving in the car), got to work, left work at 5PM ... then decided let me try the GPS thing with the phone backlight on all the time ... reached home at 6:40PM .. .1 bar left on the phone (had the GPS on all the time)... and i had about 5 short phone calls during the day

i think thats pretty good ... though it die quicker than that ... so it lasted the day ... cool

BTW: GPS is acurate to street level, def more than good enough if you use it in the car, and it was connected to the sat's all the time ... no break in connection ... amazing

Had mine on charge the whole night. Took it off charge this morning 8:30. Used it for a few calls, send and recieved a few SMS's. Took a photo, played two short video clips. Had the GPS on for about 5 minutes.

Battery still full.:D ;)

just tried the video recording , its amazing ... played the mp4 file on my PC. wow ... is there something this phone can be flawed on? ... its just too good to be true ...

i converted a full length movie (DVD) down to 380mb MP4 and the quality is absolutely stunning! sound quality is also superb through the stereo speakers on the phone, movie plays without a single hitch, are u guys sure this is a phone? i mean just think, it replaces the following
MP3 player
Video Player
Camcorder
GPS Navigation
Digital Camera
PC Modem with HSDPA
Internet on the go
& ofcourse its a mobile phone
ETC...
Now consider the price tag of buying all the above individually !
Nokia , u guys deserve a noble prize.

You're lucky to get your N95 Piesang! Now I wish my contract will end soon so I can change my brick of a P990 to that! I played with my friend's N95 and am surprised at how fast the software menu is compared to P990. I definitely want to get one when my other contract is due.

Yes shhh, quiet now don't let JK8 hear you say that about SE, he'll be upset with you man, just don't mention u want a Nokia, oops too late u did. :D

I have both SE and Nokia,
ok so the SE is only a W900i but it still is a beauty and functionality is still great, but of course my Nokia N95 kicks @ss !

so for those of u luck bastards who've got the phone...
how is the batery life? reviews weren't good on just that factor...

Well i've had it for two days now and battery seems to be just as strong as anything else on the phone!
In one day i've used
abt 30min voice call
4min video call
GPS for abt 6hours
bluetooth transfer of videos for abt 30min
Camera for abt 1hour
web browsing for abt 30min
and general use of phone for games and other changing of settings
and at the end of the day i had 1 bar.
I'd say thats pretty dam good !

I heard it!!! I'm lining up a firing squad for Bumzilla - traitor!! :)

I actually recommended the N95 to a friend this morning! :o He is due for an upgrade with MTN, but does not want a business phone. He is getting his N95 tomorrow.

*Glad you guys are enjoying the N95....it is an awesome phone. :)
