Nokia N95 @ Vodacom??

That is on their new contracts. Will there be a difference between upgrade and new activation?

Lol on certain deal and phones theres a massive difference!
If thats the price for new activations I can definatley say that deal will be beaten very easily!

I took out my first contract with MTEL in 1994 and I think about 4 years after that MTNSP took over. Since the beginning I'm used to MTNSP giving good deals on their phones. They subsidise their phones up to a point where it is almost free. I'm talking about the high end phones.

Medium and low en phones are always or 80% of the time free on packages.

Ye my mum gets most phones free with that Mtel incentive thingy. How old are you?

Awaiting confimation though
Just spoke to a consultant called Abel. I wanted to port from Nashua, my current contract is up on the 13th of May. The consultant was not even aware that the phone was on their online catalogues. He then told me that the phone is not available as yet and he does not n
know when will it be available!!!

Like I said I'm awaiting confirmation. If it's on the catalog it was only loaded either last night or this morning. ;)

No sweat Pitbull, apologies if needs be ;)
Just that based on my story on this thread http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php?t=71872, I have up until the 12th of May to port to MTNSP!!! The only phone I NEED is the N95!!! So the sooner I get it on a 'free' package (no Once Off) and on a subscription of no more than R350 per month them I will take it. I hope you understand my situation:sick:

The N95 is not even free on a Procall 1000. So getting it free on any package is impossible.

Still no sign of it on VodaCom? Alas, we shall wait a bit more then... :(

I wish I wish I wish Voda or any1 wud give the phone free on a 1GB Data Package contract..

Sir Richard Branson, do something...

I reckon we more likely to get it free on a Telkom ADSL package for around R5260 a month for 1 Gig :p

If you only want a data package they would'nt throw in a N95 or any other phone for that matter. A data card or USB modem will do the trick.

The grimm reality does catch up with me sooner or later... Im just thinking that the Nokia N95 "Multimedia Computer" would abundantly be used for data, and only minimally for phonecalls. Heck, if I wanted a phone i'd buy a 3310 instead.. we ALL have phones, what we want is that extra bit(s) that make the N95 special.

For a phone (3310 etc) - Give me free minutes and sms's
For a multimedia computer - Give me DATA DATA DATA :D

Yes, the N95 is the type of phone you use to it's fullest otherwise it's not worth having.

Nope, when last did you have a look there JK8?

It's been advertised on MTNSP for R999 on a Procall 120 at R309 per month and MTN is throwing in a 1GB Memory Card.:D ;)
