Non-functioning iPhone 3G required

Hi All

Weird question, I know, but I am looking for a black 3G/S. It's just for display purposes, so I require one that doesn't work. It can be water damaged or bricked - the internals can even be fried for all I care - it just has too look decent, like a nice shiny iPhone:)

Please let me know if you have one or know where I can get one in Jozi. Tried calling a few places but no luck.

Why? What do you intend to do with it? Surely every breathing human on this planet knows what an Iphone looks like. Its just a rectangle! :confused:

Does it have to be an iPhone or can it be any rectangle with some glass? Do you want to buy it or do you want if for free?

I did say it was a weird request:p

Well basically our director is a huge Apple fan, and had the original iPhone since way back when, which doesn't work anymore. He managed to get an iPhone 4 that someone dropped in a pool.

So he came came up with the brainwave of making a frame/display which shows the evolution of iPhones, from the original to the iPhone 4, which we will frame in our boardroom. Hence the search for the 3G, which is the only model missing.

Any ideas? Free is preferable, as it will be a unit that doesn't work anymore and will spend the rest of its life in a frame behind glass.

PS: he also has a similar idea about showing the evolution from the 56k dial up modems to the current modems, but that's a project for another day;)
