Earlier this year we confirmed our occupation date for the new house. Yay!

Then I was told that Openserve handles the installation of the lines and based on past experiences I booked the install in June to ensure that everything will be on track for VOX to do their part beginning of August when we are moved in.

Simple right? Nope.

Openserve had their part done within a couple of days in June. Very much the opposite of my past experiences with them where it takes 4 to 8 weeks for a line to be installed.

Now VOX phones me to arrange the router installation and I come to the agreement that they would come through on the 2nd of August to do their part.

All good until I receive an invoice for June, July, and August for the service.
I never had the router so how can they activate?

So now I'm struggling for weeks to get them to confirm what is going on and to credit the R2000 +- that they took from me.

Rant over. Who knows where I can get some proper help?

Not from Vox, they are hopeless.
They used to be great, but not any more.
I am waiting for these fibre guys to pull their fingers out and get the job done so I can leave Vox DSL forever.
There is virtually NO support from Vox.
Best of luck.
If I was you I'd find another ISP. Anyone, just not Vox.

Problem is i'm under 12 month contract for now and will have to buy myself out.

I've been with Vox for years with zero issues until now. Very unhappy right now.

Time to go full Karen on social media I guess.

Tried about two months ago to get a quote from them for a business line. No one answered the phone. After the 3rd attempt someone answered, still waiting for a call back.

If their new business service is this poor, imagine when you have an actual problem. I would not consider them wheter for business or home.

Forgot to update the thread.

Admin error on their side. They jumped through all the hoops to rectify the problem and credit me correctly.

Just took a couple of emails and a post on Hello Peter.
