Not Receiving SMS's & Notifications

To the 8ta Representative (or anyone else who can assist) -

I'm not receiving SMS notifications when voicemail is left on my phone. I've had to continually phone in to 181 to find out if I've got mail.

Can you offer an explanation? I suspect that perhaps my Diverts are incorrectly setup - they're all on Active (ie Divert If: Busy; Not Answered & Phone off/Not answered) - but I'm not sure if the Message Centre number is correct? I have it set to +2781191. Please confirm if this is correct, or what other divert settings I should look at.

In the meantime, I've had my SIM switched to the 8ta network exclusively. Although I'm pleased to be getting good 3G speeds (despite being out of your coverage area according to your online map) I'm still not receiving notifications - in fact I'm now not receiving ANY SMS's when my phone's off or out of range.

Can you please assist?

Problem Resolved

The 8ta technician promptly got back to me with the solution - turns out my Diverts were indeed incorrectly setup, so for anyone else who may experience the same problem:

* Cancel all phone diverts, then enter the following numbers as required...

NOT ANSWERED: **61*08114[YOUR CELL#, EXC THE INITIAL 0]# eg **61*08114813456789#

UNAVAILABLE: **62*08114[YOUR CELL#, EXC THE INITIAL 0]#

BUSY: **67*08114[YOUR CELL#, EXC THE INITIAL 0]#
