Hi everyone,
Im pretty stumped with this problem and it looks like so is Vodacom.
For the past 8 months i have been sending and receiving sms's to and from Australia(with my private vodacom #). In July this year I went there on holiday but ever since then i have not been able to receive any sms's sent from there. I took both my private phone and work phone(vodacom #) with but forgot to activate my private number's roaming before I left. I did switch the phone on while i was there but there was obviously no connection. I used my work phone (roaming on) while I was there. Ever since I have come back, i have not been able to receive text messages sent to my private number (we have tried different Aussie numbers) but I can send to them from my private number. They can how ever send texts to my work number and I receive them without problems.
We have swapped the sim cards to different phones but the ability to receive the sms's travels with the simcard so I know its not the phone. anybody that had something similar and a possible solution. Any inputs will be welcomed!!
Cheers
