Not receiving SMS's

I am on Vodacom with a top-up contract and I have been struggling with an issue for the past 6 months where I am not receiving SMS messages from certain sources. I do receive some SMS messages but I don't get OTP's from Apple and Amazon. I tried to register on the IEC voter portal and don't get the verification OTP SMS. I'm using an iPhone and don't have any numbers in the block list. Anyone else had an issue like this and know how to get it resolved?

Did you register your number on the DNC/antispam list ? I did that and all sms stopped, except banking.has to remove myself and it started working. But took 3 a long time to figure this out.

Thanks for the heads up. I think I might have registered years ago, will try to see if I can remove myself.
