Note 9 or wait for the S10

I am up for a new phone with Cell C and was wondering if I should just wait for the S10?
Opinions?

I know little is known about thew new Sammy but what would you do?
 
It’s best that you wait for the Note XS Plus with laser functionality on the S Pen
 
I'm in the same boat it's between the Note 9 512Gb and S10.
 
The S10 will probably be available from mid-March if previous iterations are anything to go on. That's 6 months away.

Whilst it will probably make the Note 9 look antiquated, it's a way off. Depends how much you need a phone now.
 
If you're upgrading on a two year contract, I'd say wait for the S10, as it will bring a new faster SoC, better screen, camera and design features.

The Note 9 is just a S9 with a stylus - it's beating a dead horse with older technology which has been out since the beginning of the year... unless the stylus is very important to you.

Should hopefully be 7nm, so the SoC should be more power efficient/higher performance.

Again, if your current phone is more than good enough, no need to upgrade.

Won't Hurt to wait, Note 9 price might also drop slightly by then if you don't see a need to upgrade to the S10.
 
There will always be something "better" coming.

Why wait for S10 - if you wait a few months more you can get the Note 10.

But if you wait a few months more you can get the S 11

But if you wait a ..........................................

Get the picture ?

Just take the Note 9 - brilliant phone.
 
Take whats available now because once you get the S10 you wont have to wait long for the S11.

So take the 9 skip the 10 and go for the 11.

The Note 9's hardware is old. The Note's hardware will always be old... It re-hashes the "S" hardware months later. One reason to always get a "S" varient over the Note.

If you are having to ask yourself what you should get between a Note and a S series then rather get the S series as you will clearly not make much use of the SPen.

Get the S10.
