My social circle has changed 4 times in the past 5 years.
My location has changed 3 times in the past 2

People I thought I`d see forever,are now gone
they`re alive,just no longer part of my life

People I`d die for,are now mere acquaintances
People I hated are now close friends

views I thought I'd hold forever are now crumbling before my very eyes

how dafuq did that happen?

how the hell am I supposed to form meaningful relationships?

Is there no point in trying to go against the tide of change?
Is there ever anything that stays the same?

Derp I get philosophical at night... like werewolves
 
Or....maybe it is you that changed and the rest of the world stayed the same.

People mature at different rates and sometimes your old circle just ends up being the same while you change.
 
I hear you. My job has taken me PLZ - CPT - JNB - DUR - JNB. Each for a few years at a time. It's like being flashed by the Men in Black.
 
Well if everyday was the same what would be the point to life?

You know people are born to die, so expect people close to you to die. Then it won't as bad as expecting them to round forever.
 
I'm in exactly the same position. My circle of friends has also changed about 5 times in 5 years. It's quite depressing if you think about it. :(

One or two friends have remained constant throughout, and I'm at least grateful for that.
 
Don't drink and drive. To this we add, "don't drink and post". :p

I feel for you...I can't imagine living like that.....my circle of friends has remained constant since the age of 9, never changed. Add to that, I absolutely hate change.

But also, different locations shouldn't mean the end of a relationship...
 
I hear you, I'm only still friends with one person from high school and my best friend I have only known for three years.
 
I'm not in contact with any of my high school friends. As far as I know most are now married with 2.5 planned or unplanned children.
 
I`m in contact with 4-5 highschool mates,we used to be really tight,now we`re like mere acquaintances

woke up this morning thinking wtf

Here`s en example,I stay in polokwane for now,most of my mates are in jhb and pta,its not really viable at the moment to go and chill with them for a few days...

My head hurts
