Hi guys

Quick question - I've just tried out Nova launcher. I created folders in the app drawer but even though I've added all the relevant apps to the folders, the apps are still visible in the app drawer. To me, this defeats the purpose of having apps in folders. Is there any way around this?

If you buy Nova Launcher Prime you can hide apps in the app drawer. The app is Currently on sale for R2 on Google Play but I think this will end in the next few hours so act quick!

Okay, thanks. It's a bit silly that we have to do that but I guess that could work.

That part I did --> http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthr...nhancements!?p=9041960&viewfull=1#post9041960

Apparently same goes for Widget Locker if you have that (Same developer so I guess it makes sense)

It's also activated the same way: simply head into WL's settings menu and hold volume down for 1-2 seconds. Just like with Nova, you'll see a toast notification to let you know that the new menu was successfully unlocked. To disable it, hold volume up for 1-2 seconds. Easy peasy.

Inside this hidden area, you'll find some pretty neat features, many of which are in place to reduce the likelihood of the stock lockscreen showing up instead of WidgetLocker's custom interface. There are also some device-specific tweaks here, like a toggle for the Atrix's fingerprint scanner. Other tweaks include some goodies for HTC devices running Sense, and extra features for devices with capacitive buttons.

If you're a WidgetLocker fan, we recommend at least digging around in this menu. It may just unveil something that could improve the overall experience on your particular device.

Okay, I figured out how this all works. When you create a new folder, leave the "Hide apps" checkbox ticked. What this does is move your icons to your new folder and removes it from the app drawer. I unticked it when I created new folders, so it kept my icons in the app draw as well.

Man, I am blown away by the sleek performance of Nova launcher. It's awesome.
