If you are planning on cancelling your contract due to slow speeds, you can not accept the "free" months as that would be viewed as compensation for the fault and then the contract is still valid.
What you can do is use this as proof there is a problem and then cancel before the "free" months

yes but after these free months you may leave if you are still not happy you should be able leave without to many problems

Still havent heard anything

Spoke to 3 other Nowire subscribers and they also havent heard anythng about a rebate, one says he phoned and the helpdesk said they knew nothing about it

So where are you hearing about the rebate ????????

Well, between my open ticket requesting a rebate, the phone call and the email sent to me (which is in the very first message in this topic) I have the information regarding the rebate. However, it seems that it has only gone out to those customers that complained (the email that I have was obviously an internal one as it listed customer id, status and description and a note to send to 'above listed customers').

Bear in mind I have an open ticket regarding speed dated from the 18th June.
