Okay, so beside the price. I didn't copy the whole text as the location is a bit out in the middle of no where for students!
The majority of students is closer to
Brightwater Commens (10-15km from UJ and Wits) (90% of students)
Clearwater (12-15km from UJ and Wits) (quality is the same as Monte)
Monte Casino (25-35km from UJ and Wits)
So with a special reduced price of R4.50 on a movie ticket, the majority of students need to spend more on petrol.
Is the Monte screenings in the Prive??
If it is not, I don't see why Nu Metro ClearWater isn't suitable? Was the location based only on the quality of the cinema or on the demographics of students as well.
Example, Student Village normally has special for students (promotions and competitions), and that is done at Rosebank, although a Ster Kinekor, but closer by the varsity for day and hostel students.
My point comes back to the fact, that students want to save as much as they can, and Nu Metro is not going to gain any new clients with a R4.50 reduce movie ticket.
P.S. I want to support Nu Metro, but for a "R25 student ticket" I'll rather go to Ster Kinekor.

And, while Nu Metro doesn't tier its sites, the Student Night events will be hosted at the top site in each region
