Nu-World takes proactive action on TVs

proactive
serving to prepare for, intervene in, or control an expected occurrence or situation, especially a negative or difficult one; anticipatory:

maybe its just me but they not being proactive, they didn't pick up the issue, and then tried to resolve, they were caught out!

then again considering they can't see the difference between HD and HD ready, they probably cant see the difference between proactive or reacting

Oddly my Tapatalk was showing a "high definition" thumbnail for this thread, which I figure was a joke but seems it's just a happy coincidence.

Yup definitely confused. Nu-world that is. Definitely the most creative alternative use of the word "proactive" I have ever seen. Trying to make a donkey that died from thirst drink after it died is definitely not proactive.

Active means "doing something." The prefix pro- means "before." So if you are proactive, you are ready before something happens. The opposite is being reactive, or waiting for things to unfold before responding.

So unless I am chrono-challenged Nu-world is being reactive after just about every other excuse failed. Or do I have memory sequence issues?
