Nobody said it was victory. Certainly wasn't a humiliation because the U.S could have if they wished flattened Somalia but instead they used restraint which you confuse with humiliation.

Poor U.S is in a lose lose situation with you lot. Get the job down = war criminal, use restrate = humiliation and use attrition = can't win/losing

because there is no backup to the statement.
just like i'm still waiting for an answer as to how the world would be better off without a State of Israel. Its easy to make the comment and to rile up emotion and get a response, but there still is no REAL answer to the question. That would stop the Suni vs Shia? The suicide bombings in Pakistan? What about the latest news in Kosovo? Even now pointing to how someone may've benefited from the holocaust?
It is very easy (and dangerous) to just make a statement, but how about backing it up with some substance..

Did anyone watch the interview between Carl Sagan and Ted Turner from BBC?
He goes into detail what would happen if there was a nuclear war... Hence the term Nuclear winter. This will effect the whole world, not just coutries involved..

At all costs, these nukes cannot be exploded.

Ted Turner on BBC :eek: talk about two peas in a rotten pod :sick::sick:

Remember there is huge difference between nukes. Not only in size but radioactive fallout and such. A war with tactical nukes wouldn't pludge the world into a 'nuclear winter'
 
I wonder how much the US spends on weapon expansion pro grammes?
