Ok before some iburst admin deletes this thread again for double copies, this is related to Iburst users aswell, so please give me a chance to make them aware of this, its FREE afterall.

Ok the long wait is over, everyone interested in using our method, which requires no special proxy settings, simply works with any tool you would like to use it for.

torrents tested 100% full linespeed
limewire tested 100% full linespeed
bonus: Steam updates at full linespeed (yeh, I bet no one thought steam could update fast)
emule tested - works as fast as it can on low-id. Emule by nature does not allow high-id over proxies.
WOW/Guildwars tested 100% stable/no-packetloss - Good ping aswell.
Skype should work, didnt have time to test international calls with it.

actually torrents dont work full speed with a proxy anymore on iburst and neither does limewire because WBS have started limiting the number of connections

and shaped or unshaped gaming sucks on iburst anyway.

Not dissing the idea, just mentioning its not the same as it is on adsl anymore, it was but now isnt
 
this is not a standard http/socks proxy but it does act as a "proxy, it just shares a name as FreeProxy, ask any iburst user on FreeProxy and they will tell u, it does work :)

I didnt just post here out of the blue, weve tested and found it worked, so I decided to post here.

I understand what you mean tho, conventional proxying doesnt work that well with iburst nemore.
 
not a stanard http/socks proxy? then what is it? Is it a Gre tunnel?
 
nope basicly have a custom client using openvpn with a couple of different work arounds.
 
Not at all, keep the support via email please, leave this forum for users to read about it.
 
Please guys, it doesnt help at all when you connect with our client and do a ping test with normal ping icmp requests, with and without our client.

Our client ping will be bit higher doing this, you have to actually go through the "HARD" work of connecting to game servers and testing the difference, same with download tests.

*sigh*

Ok well, so I decided to type it out afterall ;p

What happens, you connect with our easy to use client and all international traffic gets unshaped allowing you to max out your connection with p2p, it also helps with stabilising international ping, specially for mmorpgs namely WOW and GW.
