NukeCAP Free Unshaped International Proxy - Live -

Seemed to take longer to lockup but still locking up after I open a few browsers and I was busy downloading a file when it locked up again.

A bit later tonight I will try connecting one PC directly to the modem and see what happens. Can't do it right now as I have some work to finish.

I will let you know if it helps with a direct connection.

Ok - let us know if that fixed the issue. This will then help others using routers to connect to the freeproxy.

Edit - just too late :D

Ok thanks, but are quaddamage and rebel going through routers or not?

The only thing the 2 PCs' have in commom here is the router.
No router here, just a normal USB connection. I'm running WinXP SP2 and I haven't had any problems. I suspect a software conflict?

Clipse, my torrents are going between 15-32Kb/s (256k :D )! I'm happy with your service. This is way better than the 2Kb/s I get with a normal iBurst connection.

wow your emule is actually pulling 15-20k with low-id, impressive sheet ;-)

Yeah, could be better I guess.... you have a way to get round it? Mayby one of your paid products could tunnel me?

No alchamy what I meant, thats IMPRESSIVE sheet, no proxy service would give u hi-id unfortunately, thats why the emule system pretty much sucks :/

I didnt even know low-id could go at 20k lol

We could set you up with an international static ip with your freeproxy account and see how that works, highly likely to give you hi-id actually.

Tell you what, ill test it first and then get back to you about it.

I know its impressive, well im capped now so 8k it is but hey.

AFAIK low-id simply means you cannot d/l from other users with low-id. So I guess its all about sources then.

Is Freeproxy really a proxy? If it is simply a vpn there must be a way to "fool" e-mule.

Possible set up static IP and forward 1 UDP & 1 TCP port to it, configure e-mule to use the exact same ports and you have a "fake" tunnel.

E-mule determines low id by trying to connect to the port, so if your forwarding that port at each point it should work.

Who knows, just a theory!

Let me know what you come up with.

I know of a way to make it work with a static ip assigned to the clientside vpn, this will require a completely seperate instance of openvpn but if your keen we could try get that setuped.

It would however cost you bucks for the static ip since it will only be usable by one client ie. you.

This is the only way to get this working, we will try first and see if we can cook it up and then let you know.

re: ports explaination, emule doesnt calculate the lowid at all like that ;-) weve tried that and learned the hard way and about FreeProxy being a Proxy or VPN, well its a VPN that we use as a Proxy, we do not use it as conventional VPN's work :)

End of the day, we act as a middle point, VPN's per say is designed as peer 2 peer.

bahhh only getting 250 kb/s a sec on torrents :) pity i have to leave the country to get it !!

Clipse my torrents eventually went over 32Kb/s and were going at 60Kb/s this morning.
I guess you removed the non existant 250k speed limit lol :D

Clipse, you have my attention, if we could get it to work I would be more than happy ;)

BTW: the only thing I want to route through freeproxy is Edonkey (Overnet & Mule)

bump :)

ps. alchamy, we are still working on your solution :)

Speed problems

Clipse - thanx for a great service!

When i signed up originally, end of October, i was pulling a max of 60kbp/s on torrents. Thats after being capped. Now since the beginning of november i cannot get more than 5kbp/s. On 3/10/05 in the morning it went up to 50kbp/s for a short while but went back to a max of 5kbp/s thereafter.
I havent changed any settings in Torrent client.

myles as I mentioned in our forum, please contact me via email, I also mentioned this in the email whenever you have problems.

Its much easier to handle than via forum posts.
