Don't know if this has been posted before, i also don't know if this is the right section, but anyways...

From techpowerup.com:

"VR-Zone scored the first photo of the upcoming GeForce GTX 295 card that's reported to make first appearance at next year's Consumer Electronics Show (CES).
Unlike previous reports, the card will feature a sandwich design, like most dual GPU cards released by NVIDIA. Two 55nm GT200 CPUs will be incorporated in this card.
From the picture we also see two DVI and one Display ports. The source also reports the card is using 8+6 pin connector combo to deliver external power.
The pricing is yet to be disclosed, but card makers are speculating that NVIDIA will price it competitively against AMD 4870X2."

They say it will be competitive with the 4870x2, but it also looks like you need one hell of a psu, so, then, NO, it won't be competitive with the 4870x2 :p

Well, i have a 850w. I wonder if that'll be enough...

Look at the picture, is that not the sketchiest looking card you've ever seen? I'm sure i see some duct tape somewhere...

hey - nVidia has finally gone 55nm! wow - atleast they are getting there guys, they not that far behind...

that thing looks damn ugly though! looks like they got rushed a bit...lol

if it wants to compare to the 4870X2 i hope it has GDDR5 Ram....

Dude the ATI x2 sucks a kuk load of power :p

This card i suppose will take over and beat the x2 plus the driver support will be better for new games than ATI. Keeper i don't items like vga cards really need to look nice, personally i am not a gay boy who needs a sexy looking vga card :p, gay computer nerds FTW :p

I am running my 4870x2 on a 750w power supply, no problems... From what I have read is, that this card is 2xGTX260's slapped together... Not impressive as you can already run this setup...

why does the idea of a "rush job" pop into my head...

Agreed, but I will read the reviews when it is released and see how it compares.Thing is, I already have my 4870x2 and I am as happy as a pig in mud. :D
