Nvidia GeForce NOW SA launch

Yea not sure i It says 3080 but didnt ultra get upgraded to 40 series?
They did a while back but GPU tags (e.g 3080, 4080 etc) are updated manually by Nvidia.

We are very much running on 4080 hardware (L40S).

Hmmm I was gaming until around 5am this morning and it was fine. Now trying to fire up a session and GFN is down. :unsure:

1) Choosing to schedule hours of maintenance to your gaming platform on a Saturday afternoon...
1b) and that's before we consider that it's the day after Battlefield's release...

2) Scheduling maintenance but not announcing it in advance to your users...

3) Scheduling maintenance but not letting anyone have access to the expected end time including your own support agents...

4) With the server not having been accessible for the past 5 hours, and a support ticket open for the past 2 hours without response to the query of what time maintenance is scheduled until...

5) Who am I even kidding, this is an ISP without even a basic Network Status page...

Who signed off on these processes?

it specifically mentioned "scheduled maintenance", so that's what I'm going on.

whats new, ive been waiting 2 years for ultra, its super offputting
 
Starting to get annoyed now. :cautious:

It's literally just our Server that is down.
 
You can bet that they still haven't gotten back to us on the support tickets about the timeframe, and the support desk is closed for the day.

Thing is, you wouldn’t even get a timeframe from Nvidia themselves about any type of downtime or “maintenance” and Rain’s PR team is almost a carbon copy of Nvidia’s PR team so unlikely they’ll respond with something that isn’t generic

I tried live chat. They have no clue those people. 1st line support is like the great wall of China. Impossible to penetrate.

Exactly as you said. Still thought I'd try my luck hoping just maybe they knew something we don't.

I doubt this is scheduled maintenance, I think something went belly up. I wish a semi decent ISP could step in as alliance partner, Rain is tits on a nun.
 
Is there any way to check/get alerted proactively for when it comes back online?
Or are we stuck with just manually trying to get in all the time?
 
Status website shows online but still "down for scheduled maintenance" on app </3
