Nvidia GeForce NOW SA launch

To be honest Priority was fine for me so Ill probably stick to that for now. Or if Rain does a R1 now type of thing for GFN ill test out ultimate. Just hope priority stays below R200…Otherwise, free version will be the way to go lol

I honestly expect ultimate to cost like R800++ just looking at EU pricing
Doubt it's gonna be that expensive.
You'd be better of saving for a pc or getting like 2 months of the ultimate tier in the US.

I don't know whether this has been shared here.

Just be cautious. In the case anyone is banned, it will most probably be reversed in some time. Neither Activision nor Nvidia has stated anything about this, so I don't know how true this is. Way too many cheaters nowadays.
Thanks for the heads up. Please post if you see an update/resolution.

This is mostly a VM problem, COD’s anticheat Ricochet doesnt like virtual machines… which all GFN games run on, hence people getting banned. Ive been playing since COD on GFN launched and havent been banned yet, definitely waiting till it gets patched…

Apparently it's already resolved. Users on the GFN subreddit that were banned/warned have reported that they can play again

So now we can go back to the COD loading ritual of opening GFN, loading the COD HQ, being told to restart it to update, then the restart maybe working or just repeating the same, then finally getting into HQ, selecting Warzone, letting it load and then crash back to the GFN app, then repeating the process again and maybe getting to the game, or just repeating it again and maybe getting to the game...again

Let me hit some Age of Empires IV on our last day of free GFN

I really hope GFN releases in December sometime… or atleast early Jan

Can't believe I'm about to say this but it'll probably be better to just buy a gaming PC on credit with the ULTIMATE tier price as monthly installments and sell it if you're no longer into gaming.
Someone's forgetting about the kWh power cost for a GPU / gaming rig vs a potato pc

Also loadshedding is a thing, a real actual PC will always be better but with GFN you can play during loadshedding, it's much easier to sort out backup power for a 100w TV, a 20w monitor or you already have a laptop than it is to power a 500w gaming PC.

Yeah. I got myself an RTX 2080 for a decent price on carb but when I play games on it and see 216W TDP I'm thinking this pc is now eating electricity where with GFN it's hardly using anything and my android tv box even less but just as good with an xbox controller.

216W? My PC eats 380w and now I'm wondering if our crazy electricity bill isn't me and Gaben's fault :(
