Maybe someone can help me out here have a NVMe rated:

- Up to 2680 MB/s Sequential Read Speed
- Up to 1755 MB/s Sequential Write Speed

When I bought it was working fine 3 years ago tested the speed and all and thought great never thought to test it again. But now going to but another one and thought would test it again to compare to the new one. [have not installed it yet waiting for delivery on Monday]

Anyways it is under performing something strange..

Where is the screenshot of the benchmark that you did 3 years ago?

Need to take a look at your BIOS settings, and download & run Sisoft Sandra to see if it can diagnose / pick up anything, it usually gives hints on software bottlenecks.

Direct IO could be broken and /or caching.

Go get CrystalDiskMark and test it.

Also, how full is the drive now? The more stuff on it over time, the slower it usually gets.

max is not the rated speed for that SSD

Other people running the same setting do not have this problem. I think you are thinking about partition size blocks?

Maybe when I formatted the drive through windows it selected the wrong size blocks? but it did not give the option if that is the case?

Crystal disk mark is the standard everyone uses, rather use that as suggested.
