I actually expected far more criticism and getting ragged on, dropping details on a forum is a public space, and you are inevitably going to get the homeless trying their luck. But that's okay, cause that thread helped far more than it detracted.

The bigger the age gap, the less attachment / expectation there should be on it going anywhere.

Similar age you: Hey you wanna get a drink tonight?
Similar age her: Nah maybe some other time.
Then sure, try again some other time.

Big age gap you: Hey you wanna get a drink tonight?
Big age gap her: Nah maybe some other time.
Maybe just leave it at that.

The bigger the age gap, the finer the line between being a creep.

How old are you - cause if you are double her age and you are.. well like... 30 we going to have a problem.

I actually made contact with her earlier. She mentioned the new year, but I don't want her to expect me to be with her. There's actually quite a bit wrt our relationship I didn't explain here. We'll see how it goes...
