NZBrUs Logon problems

Been trying to logon to NZBsrUs via WA and keep getting returned back to the logon screen. After checking out their KB I found the following:

If you are from South Africa, the most common problem lies with your Internet Service Provider (ISP). One of the major ISPs in South Africa do not want their users to use our site. They put that to effect by blocking our login cookie. So, every time you log in, it appears like nothing is happening.

The best way to circumvent this problem is by using a proxy site, like ninjaproxy.com (make sure to enable the use of cookies and javascripts).

If you are from a different country, please try the above solution to see if it solves your problem before contacting us.

If that solution does not help, please contact us by submitting a ticket here or by sending us an e-mail ([email protected]).

Anyone else having problems? Maybe I should post this on the WA forums?

Can anyone logon using another ISP?
 
There is also a problem with Merlin's Portal... but it has to do with Telkom's Transparent Proxy feeding the same IP address for every user from South Africa so the site thinks that all the users are the same people trying to log on multiple times or create multiple accounts. I wonder if this is somehow related to that. The same thing happens on rapid share. It thinks all South Africans are the same person.

I can log on just fine from IS and OpenWeb.

Wouldn't surprise me....Telkom again!!!

I've tried using a aon proxy and can logon. Just posted a msg on WA forums - maybe they have an answer.

Don't suppose logging a call with Telkom helpdesk will do any good! :mad:

The sad thing is we suck so much we even get a mention in their KB.

Been like that for a while. But if you use IS, it's fine. SAIX - no go. I haven't tried any proxies though.
