Obama defends Internet spying

President Barack Obama defended US spy agency programs which trawl phone and Internet data as a “modest encroachment” on privacy which were needed to keep Americans safe from terrorism.

Oh right, terrorism. That's fine then. /sarcasm

Like it helped with Boston.

Welcome to the new world! Is a new day!

The world cannot afford the playground antics of super powers any more. Its time they grow up and make up. Everything they do affect the rest of us indirectly. They may be the two most powerful countries, but they still make up only about a third of the world population together.

They need to grow up and realise that any pettiness that remains is irresponsible.
