That airplane fuel burned at 1200 degrees.
The steel in the towers could withstand temps up to 2500 degrees.
Even then, for the steel to melt it would have to endure continued exposure by adding more and more fuel (ie. that specific metal doesn't just melt, it is designed not to) -- unlike the events of 9/11.

The steel doesnt have to melt, dimwit, only lose enough of its strength in the load bearing columns to buckle under load.
It is known that structural steel begins to soften around 425°C and loses about half of its strength at 650°C.4 This is why steel is stress relieved in this temperature range.
The reason the building came down is the joists holding the floors where the impact occurred failed. Causing the floors to fall and this produced the cascading effect and is also the reason the building collapsed inwards.
