Obama vs Romney

Lovely strawman.

Also you find it astonishing that I 'don't defend the system'

Nice dodge.

So again.
What makes you say that Gary Johnson won't be different. What do you base that on?

He has called for repealing the Patriot Act.
He has called, for at the minimum, to audit the Federal Reserve.
He is opposed to the NDAA (which Obama is fighting to keep alive).
Recall their troops.
Stop being the policeman of the world.

The list goes on on topics that the Dems and Reps won't even raise!

Oh goodie, randomised bolded words. My favourite.

Nice dodge.

Not at all. I've said repeatedly I don't agree with the two party stranglehold. If you choose to ignore this, it's a dodge on your part, not mine.

And for the record, I think both parties are full of self-serving sacks of s**t, it's just that one party is three bags full. Yes, it's the Republicans.

The guy who was a Republican the other day? Same guy who said he'd send a strike force to Uganda to 'wipe them all out' - meaning the LRA? Does that sound like he wants to stop being the policeman of the world?

Yeah, sounds like a change to me

Um yeah you defend Obama and the democrats like your life depends on it.

Yeah that is true. He said "from all appearances this appears to be genocide". Clearly it is not genocide. And one would hope that if he had the resources of the United States president as his disposal he would have the resources to determine as much.

Yet Obama has gone into Libya.
Obama is supporting the "rebels" in Syria, which we now see is executing soldiers (on the news today) and civilians.
He is killing (murdering) innocent men, woman and children in Pakistan other countries with drone strikes.
He has signed NDAA.
He has extended the patriot act.
etc, etc.

Basically what you're saying is that the ANC should forever be the party in charge of South Africa because the DA, COPE, IFP also have some issues that are questionable.

Wake up.

No, I refute lies, which are commonplace when it comes to the people who oppose Obama.

.

:erm: Really? Do you have the resources of the US president? I'm assuming no. Yet you were able to ascertain that it wasn't genocide. Would it be that much harder for him? Really????

Not sure where I refuted that Obama has done any of that. Nice try though.

Ah, again. A lovely strawman of epic proportions. It's no wonder you're so good at building them when you do it this often.

As usual, a fantastic argument that is typical of the kind of debate skills you have.

/sarcasm.

This is quite a cool site that shows who lies and who doesn't. Like any politicians both Obama and Romney just talk rubish http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/?page=3

Yes, it's very interesting, and I refer to it often.

My point was never that Obama (or any politicians) don't lie. My point was that he has kept many of his promises, which that site shows he did. Of course, this was then negated by empirex's brilliant point that was so succinct it took my breath away :

Fantastic.

A case of a broken clock getting the time right? I mean, even Romney tells the truth sometimes...

I don't understand why people are so fundamentalist when it comes to American politics. It is like the people supporting a particular party are unable to objectively look at a situation. Instead, they try to minimize their own party's faults (and failing at that lol, this is after all the information age) and blow the faults of their opposition out of proportion. Typical fundamentalist-type debating...

I'm not sure of your point here. Or how this is in response to my post.

Well I made that jpeg as somewhat of a joke, but since you are taking it that seriously -- Obama has broken the majority of his promises.

You still haven't answered my question though.
On what do you base your assertion that Gary Johnson will be worse than Obama or Romney, or more of the same?

Gary Johnson is by far in the lead in terms of policy.
So you think he will be no different than the Reps or Dems because of his Uganda comment?

That's it?
That's all you've got?
Come on help me out here; tell me you didn't just dismiss Johnson for no other reason than you are a die hard Democrat fan.

Edit: And if Johnson didn't keep his promises like saying he would repeal the Patriot Act for example.

Than you hold his feet to the fire, you hold him accountable Randhir, you fire his a$$.
You don't go around making excuses as you so often do.

Yip, sad to see.
It's just like politics in SA, with ANC supporters defending their party no matter what.

Lol. i don't need to convince you of anything, nor do I care to. If you think I'm a hardcore Democrat fan based on me correcting lies against them, it really doesn't bother me in the least.

And regarding Gary Johnson, why would I trust someone who can change his values that easily when he gets butthurt that he wasn't chosen for a party nominee?

Gutter politics. Funny thing is, this kind of behavior actually turns people against the person's ideology engaged in such childish debating tactics. Irony.

Nothing is stopping you from correcting lies against Republicans, plus it will quell any suspicion that you are a hardcore democrat fan...

Cheers Mitt, better luck next time pancake:
R.I.P., Mitt Romney

(An article from that horribly right-wing biased website called realclearpolitics lol).

Put simply, I have. I've even defended empirex when someone called him a racist because I didn't believe it to be true.

The fact is, that some people post thread after thread pushing forward lies, it isn't my fault that one side is a bigger proponent of this than the other.
