Obama's Promises & the coming 'Attack'

The proof of the pudding is in the eating.

As Barack Obama is sworn in as President of the United States of America, one has to remember the promises for Peace he made to the American people during his campaign, especially his promises to:

1. End the war in Iraq
2. Shut Down Guantánamo
3. Reject the Military Commissions Act
4. Stop Torture
5. Work to eliminate nuclear weapons
6. Hold direct, unconditional talks with Iran.
7. Abide by Senate approved international treaties.

If these above items suddenly become 'less important,' or aren't done - then I guess the Military Industrial Corporate Complex has a new sock-puppet in power, to dazzle the sheeple focused on issues of pigment - rather than any genuine political 'change' in direction.

Let's see if there is any substantive change in the status quo.

And given the wide number of suspiciously ominous statements by a variety of political leaders over the last few months - everyone from Biden, to Colin Powell and others that Obama will 'be tested' in his first few months, as well as the more direct statement (by Powell) that Obama will face a crisis in the next few days in office this January - it's going to be interesting to see what false flag Theatre might be about to be staged.

When I get around to it, I'll dig out more of the various quotes which have made it into the media - referring to a 'generated crisis.'

BIDEN: ""Watch, we're gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy."

Question: What if he doesn't do any of those things, but he does a bunch of other equally great things, will you still criticize him?

Ah politics 101. deflect the difficult questions, explain away bullsch1dt by refering to being "quoted out of context" and never take responsibility when you get caught out lying.
;)

I mean hell!! why should he be held accountable for all those promises he made in order to garner votes

No, I totally agree. I was just asking, 'cause that is what is probably going to happen.

He's already pulled the plug on the Iraq pull out.

He made Hilary Clinton Secretary of State after claiming she was ""untruthful about her foreign policy resume"

Broke his promise of change by selecting Washington insiders. Most notably Joe Bidden for Vice President

Keeps Dubya's selection for Defence Secretary

The preacher he selected for his inauguration supported banning gay marriage in California

Won't outlaw all interrogation techniques not permitted by the Army Field Manual. So there's your 'torture'

This all before he became Pres. Shame duped again lol

As for a 'crises'

North Korea threatens South with war

On Saturday, a dour man in military uniform appeared on North Korean television, flanked by army flags, and read a statement saying the country was now on a war-footing. He said the North would take an "all-out confrontational posture" against its neighbour.

Although North Korea regularly issues threats against the South, a spokesman for the South Korea Unification ministry said it was the most serious threat since 1998.

No surprise really. With all the appeasment rhetoric of his campaign of course every tyrant would take it up as a green flag to do what they please.

Although his defence of Israel has been a nice surprise. That's not going down well with his loony left wing support base

You saw wrong. All indications are that closing Guantanamo is one of the first things he will do...

/methinks he will find as soon as he gets into office that there are lots of good unknown reasons for not doing a lot of the things he thought he would be able to do. Up until now he has not been party to the "Book of Secrets". Once he gets full access to the national security database, he might just change some of this "change" talk. :p

It depends on how good the other things are. We know politicians make lots of promises (cc. Zille) they cannot keep.

Does he really need the opposition to remind him of his lies?

So you reckon he's just another "politician"?

Hopefully mooseburger Palin will be watching - and wondering whether it could have been McCain up there if she hadn't been such a joke.

I hear he's going to swear the oath on an old Lincoln bible. He copied JFK's style of speaking as well. He has visions of grandeur this one...

The voters had the same vision.

Bush gone, Obama in. A double celebration.

What a great day.
