Offer to purchase question

If you bought CASH, the title deed can take up to 6 months (I have experience on that). Just follow up with the attorney's and ask when was it requested, and the timeline to you to get it roughly.

Ok, I read you asked twice ! Call them

I didn't buy cash. I don't worry about the title deed that much, what bugs me is the rates and taxes info.

EDIT: And I don't want to call, I want to email, I want a written log.

In that case, your bank is sitting with the deed, because it is theirs until its paid off.

If you are from Tshwane (pm me, let me help you related to rates and taxes)

Ok! You can call FNB HL staff monday and confirm.

And rather say why you say not true

I spent some time working with the HL team at two banks. Blue and Red. Red did the credit checks etc as application hit the desk and usually a second "officer" confirmed everything to be correct. If no issues, feedback within 2-4 days. This has changed slightly since 2020 but main process remains similar. Legal leg is what takes longer or for building loans.

Blue did something similar, I personally got mine 2 days after I'd applied at the blue place. Issues with FNB. No issues with Red or Nedbank.

My point is, don't spread untrue information/rumors.

As I said, you can call!

I would love to hear what is BS

So I guess you went with the blue bank (who has the worst paying HL ratios of all the banks)! True, SB says quickly yes! Finding issues of non payers only later!

This is the feedback we also received from the originator. FNB has the least non payers.

Some good advice! Once you get appointed an attorney, double check who instructed them (example... the bank)

My friend had now a nightmare just applying to extend his bond!

The bank gave the instruction through.... and then the bank removed them (for poor service).

Guess what, the client had a nightmare experience, as the attorney’s didnt worry anymore!

So, my advice, if an instruction is given, confirm that they are “legally on the panel” still

Banker finally got in touch with me, saying everything is fine. The application was missing letterhead which he added now, and should have everyting sorted by tomorow.
