Office 2011 for Mac available on elicensing

Hey Peeps - just to let you all know - Office 2011 for Mac is now available for download on licensing.microsoft.com if, of course, you have an elicensing logon.

Some feedback so far :

- The download is just short of a Gig.
- The enterprise edition does not use the KMS/MAK method to license.
- It ships with updates to RDP and OCS clients.
- Outlook 2011 does indeed have a PST import option - and it works rather nicely.
- Outlook 2011 is overall a huge improvement on Entourage, although I think I am just going to stick with Mail.app
- It doesn't un-install previous versions - so if you don't want both, you going to have to do some removal work
- Shut down ALL internet browsers before beginning install otherwise it gets finicky.

Does Outlook dump it's stuff under ~/Documents/Microsoft User Data/ like Office 2008, or have they finally moved it to ~/Library/ somewhere?

Nope, its still under ~/Documents/Microsoft User Data. To be exact, its under ~/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office 2011 Identities.
It is a bit different though - its now Time Machine aware, so each mail is stored individually.

LOL. You are welcome. Ya, it is odd, but hey, the rest of the package is actually OK - a massive improvement over 2008, and more in line with Office 2010. I actually like the new ribbons... doesnt confuse the (*&^ out of me as I move between PC and MAC!

Just playing around with the new MS Office for Mac 2011, looks much better than it did on the old version of office for mac 2008, good on MS on trying to keep it consistent across platforms, now they should stop ignoring Linux as well
