Wife and I have taken up positions in separate rooms for the coming game. I'm on the stoep with the 65-inch, and she's in the lounge with the smaller LG.

We cannot watch this game in the same room and preserve domestic harmony.

Though wildly attractive, she has of late revealed a troublesome (but strangely fetching) fickleness since we moved from Joeys to the Western Cape: she's switched to supporting the Stumblers. I on the other hand have remained loyal and steadfast in support of The Great and Resurgent Lions Rampant. Sue is very vocal and volatile, shouting and stamping and gesticulating at the TV, as if the players can hear her. This reveals a tenuous grasp of how broadcast technology works. I am quieter and more reflective.

We will meet up at half time to compare stories.

Let the game begin.

Noises from the lounge suggest the Wafters have achieved a momentary advantage. :(

You are lucky to live in a house and have courtship with a fellow rugby lover. (although you need to reassess your love for somebody who support the Stormers) :p

My wife's rugby watching and support is limited to random "he is sexy" and "oooh check those nice legs/arms/arse" comments. Mostly aimed at Dan Carter.

My wife is also a rugby lover, even though she supports the Sharks *spits*

Since moving to the western cape, I have started to go through an identity crisis. I want to support true lions but I am getting excited for the stormers. And well the Sharks this year have left a bad taste in my mouth

Stormers should at least be 5 points ahead. Catrikillus needs to come on. Coleman's confidence is lost

I was hoping for some advantage over my cohabitant. The Zephyrs have through pure luck managed to escape the superior skill and scintillating flair of the Lions. This is my balanced assessment. ;)
