A frustratingly unsatisfactory result. Probably fair for the game, but lousy for the table.

Ag man, I can't help saying it again. Warren Whitely Esq is a wonderful exponent of the spirit of rugby. His post-game comments are so refreshingly gracious. What a gent! He is head and shoulders above any other capitano. Does us proud.

Now to fight the post mortem analysis with the wife. Should be fun as well. Eventually.

Entertaining game of rugby that was, even if not satisfying for the respective teams' fans. Gotta give it to some of the Lions players, they have played for WC spots this season.

Coleman is in trouble. We urgently need a replacement. It's like golfing yips, he is ****ed psychologically.

Lions should have let the Stormers win to keep the SA flag high. Now the Stormers have a very slim chance of making the finals

No one gives favours these days. I don't see the Tahs loosing to the Reds at home next week which means the Stormers can only finish 3rd. The Brumbies in the quarter finals should be the easier draw (as opposed to the NZ teams). If the top 3 conference rule 9for the overall log) is taken away, the Stormers will be 6th and the highest ranking SA side. Just shows how bad SA rugby is.

Or how good we are at eliminating one another.

Either way, our S15 performance is not a great hope-raiser for our chances at RWC.

We Lions supporters know all about disappointment and years of languishing in the doldrums. I'm determined not to let it get to me but to just sit back and enjoy the games as they come. "RWC this year? Are we, er, playing?" is my approach :D. At least for now. That is head in sand to avoid despondency.

Awesome game to watch! Was shouting for my second team the Lions (they also got big teeth like a shark :D). Don't like that wp crowd.

You really are a bad supporter of the game.

And I think he's putting his best foot forward  They don't get more one-eyed than this one.

Yeah, quite. No wonder the Newlands crowd is the worst in the country.

And probably the only stadium in the country I never want to be in or watch any games in. I'd be so embarrassed if I were amongst that lot.

Cannot believe you admitted this? Seriously? If a team has to rely on another to throw a game to have a sniff of a chance, kind admitting it's not really that good a team. And what about all the other games lost...

If you can't beat the lions boet, you ain't going to beat the Hurricanes.

Agree one hundred percent. Doubt they'll beat the Brumbies, Highlanders or Chiefs. Honestly the Stormers should have thrown the game, 'coz the Lions have a better chance in go all the way.

Aye. Really looking forward to seeing what they achieve. Just need to keep their core of the team.
