And I forgot to add the "art" of running in front of the ball carrier and pulling him through a tackle... not only obstruction but bloody dangerous for the tackler!

Same for propelling your player into the tackler - should be banned from the game.
 
All that attacking surely have tired out the Blues. Lions subs to make the difference I hope.

How would you ban that without banning rolling mauls?
 
The Lions just never learn, do they?

Take the fffff points when it is on offer. Especially if you only have 20% possession.

Rolling maul is formed when the ball carrier makes contact with the opposition player and his team mates bind onto him and the ball is fed back to the last player.

Pulling your player through a tackler is, strictly speaking, obstruction as the "puller" is in front of the ball and no contact has been made by the ball carrier.

Propelling your mate through a tackle also involves no opposition player... you push your mate into the tackle situation without binding onto him.

Okay yeah, bad example. But general offensive support play will be hampered quite a bit and there will be a lot of room for penalties, yellow cards and complaining.
 
If I'd picked the Lions, they would have played like asses ...... Good on them though.
 
Lions defence and set pieces made the obvious difference today.

A bit smarter decision making and they can upset plenty of teams.
