Official 2015 Super Rugby Thread

Another good SuperBru round for me. Just let down by the poor show by the sharks.

I just saw now that the Bulls were actually complaining about the quick restart from the Lions after the JL Potgieter Oscar performance and penalty.

They say a different ball was used than the one used for the penalty conversion and because of that they were caught unawares and put under pressure.

On a side note and I know I'll take flack for it. Pierre Spies actually had a very good game for the Bulls. He carried the ball strongly and made a good amount of tackles in the second half. I also saw him cleaning out quite a few rucks.

I'm not saying he is Bok material again but it is nice to see him play closer to his potential again.

Hectic weekend of rugby. Really dunno wtf is going on at the Sharks. Boot morons like Deysel from the squad indefinitely until they are ready to put their big girl panties on.

Although if I was Todd Blackadder I'd be spitting venom at my players, too. Those consecutive shoulder checks were completely idiotic.

This is from last year, I hope he gets banned for life.

Surely this would be aggravating circumstances for the current citation?

Almost certainly, for all of Bismarck's reputation as being dirty he has only been banned once previously for dirty play (If I can recall) and he got a mid-range sentence. Deysel having used the boot to the head a year previously should expect a longer sentence.

For the second time in two weeks, the mentality of so-called "senior" players is to make use of a numerical superiority by resorting to foul play. Will never understand what goes through the head of Deysel/Bismarck when they lash out at the head. Wonder if Deysel really wants to be back in Japan where he can be a big fish in a pond of smaller players. Hard times being a Sharks supporter :(

Who was that stomping/kicking there?

Jean Deysel

Thank you. Pathetic that some players never learn vital lessons in the game or mature up. Painful. Management of the Sharks need to do some introspection and make some hard calls now or they can kiss this season goodbye as a complete waste.

Regardless, somewhere between management, coaching and players there is something horribly wrong with the team. If not sorted quickly, they're going to be slaughtered on tour down - under.

Ah okay.

I'll check the repeat later but from where we were sitting it looked like Faf de Klerk tracked the referee right up to the mark and took the quick tap.

Not faf's fault where the infringement was done and where the ref awarded the penalty is in 2 different spots
