ya its unfortunate that it kinda dies out due to many reasons, i totally get what youre saying about the emptiness and less players, if more people bought the maps it would be better, its probably more treyarchs fault for not putting them all in one big map pack and selling it to us one time, i am pretty picky when it come to Blops, if i feel like playing a new map i bought then i want to play the new ones and cycled old maps just wont do, makes sense why they gtive it for free to the server owners though, Slaughts im not knocking people who hired servers, just a tad frustarted that the game is so limited and isnt fun anymore.

No worries - I think we are all a bit frustrated with the way they are handling the map packs/dlc content. If the community all decided that they want to buy them I promise you RoS would be the first one to enable them and play them. Except some of the fail maps though - like Hotel and Kowloon... They just suck...

100% correct, I have disabled both DLC maps on my server... otherwise it dies out...

BTW RoS & Slaughter, sorry about Sat.... my guys were mal at me for trying to play softcore So I shot them all in the backs as they spawned lol. But now that the HC NGL servers are up, we can try again for sure!

My clan only ever played HC TDM... but now we are in the HC & S&D league, it makes for a new enjoyment for us.... A massive learning curve for sure! We had a friendly last night against the YIA 3rd team. Was a blast! (scuse the pun)

That may be it, i havent played much SnD, maybe 10 games in total ever, am very good at demo which is only played on nuketown(apparently the upncoming dlc features a map that the developers say is Nuketown sister map)but we will never know, i suppose ive waited on the server page for ages for a game, i can watch teamates finish the game off. SnD i would imagine to be considered the most realistic style of gameplay as you only have one life?

Yep - also actually entertaining if you do it with a couple of friends... You can take each other out because all the MASSIVE fails (read Sharkbait) are there for everyone to see!!!

Easy. 3 1/2 months and buy bf3 or MW3 and you'll have another couple months........ before the dlc story starts all over again

SnD makes black ops a good game... HQ is also really fun, basically domination and then SnD in one game mode.

Played some HC SnD on the DLC maps last night, was good fun and a first for me.

Il give it a go, i have a nagging devil of variety sitting on my shoulder whispering buy the new map pack, you know you want to, you know you want to T - off with the enemys skull at the golf course, check out the Area 51 conspiracy map oooh aaaah, put your feet up and catch a film at the drive in - "whats showing?"....."you dead all day!" go on, you can do it, its only R100, do it do it do it, you know you want to.

What competition did you enter? You can probably buy the game now for less than R300 if you look around... Just make sure you don't have telkom as an ISP, otherwise you'll be better off going and playing on uk servers

lol, I finally bought it yesterday on xbox. I was extremelly hesitant due to my lvl 1 v lvl 50's, however, prestige works wonders, so you can actually have a lobby filled with all sorts of lvl players. Leveled up to 10 last night which is promising. So will see where it all gets me. I have never played online before, well COD, so I wanted to do some catch up before MW3. Im happy with the buy.
