Which "wallhack" thingy? I can't open that link, but bashandslash isn't a hacking site. :P
 
its not really a hack, but a config setting that allows clipping, when u walk up to a solid object (say a wall) and touch it, the wall becomes sort of a frame only, so u can see through it....
 
I had a close look at my FPS last night. Sometimes it runs up to about 90... I am quite impressed. Imagine - if I am impressed now what will my reaction be on the new SB??? Can't wait!!! Come on March!

I'm still impressed with my old GTX280 then!!! does very similar performance to your GTX460 (or is it a 470?) !!! Been looking around for a nice 23" or bigger LCD / LED running 100 - 120mhz refresh... Not many and quite expensive :( BenQ have one .. never tried a BenQ before... Aahh, PC's never happy with them! (can see the appeal of a PS3 or XboX - 5K layout & you good for years)

Are you upgrading your GTX460 as well?
 
Nope, keeping it. I know I won't get more FPS by upgrading CPU, but the overall performance should be much better...
 
Never seen that before Sharkbait... Mine is about 20-30 on mweb and 60-70 on openweb. Very seldom 999 except if I alt tab by mistake :p

bliksem mar jy kry leker ping, so mweb peform nogal?
sal n plan mut maak, ek kry 40-45 ping op afrihost.
 
Janseng, dit hang af van jou lyn...

I have 4mb line and am in cape town. If you're in jhb, you should get the same on afrihost. All IS accounts route through the jhb exchange irrespective of where you live. So in jhb an IS account should in theory work just as well as an mweb account, but in capetown, an mweb account would be the best :)

I'm just talking about unranked servers. On ranked servers, it all fine.

Dit kinda maak sin dat mweb die beste latencies sal he met cod blops...
 
Well, Im in Durbs and if I play a CPT server (Via MWEB) I get 50 - 80 ping. If I play a JHB server (MWEB) i get 30 - 60 ping.

im in capetown(brackenfell), 4mb, afrihost kinda sux 40-45 on jhb, 70-80 on cpt.
gona switch next week, waiting on pay day ;)
 
Yeah, if you change to mweb you should have similar pings... Afrihost is also on IS so is openweb (well my account anyway) and pings to jhb are more or less the same as mweb to jhb... Capetown and IS just don't work too well for FPS...

IRG - that does also work out... 500km to jhb vs 1600 to cpt...
 
I got no problems with pings.... Just the freakin DC's... my ping can be 30 and I will get DC's. But about 5 minutes in, it all seems to clear up... untill the server crashes!!

Yeah, you guys on adsl can't complain. ;) The server crashes has increased the last couple of days... :(
 
spyker, at mweb do u have uncapped?
i dont want uncapped, and i cant seem to find unshapped capped.
 
I have the 3gb shaped capped, but it isn't shaped like the uncapped accounts... It is full speed on everything i've tested so far. No shaping that I can see :)
 
And it only costs R79. :)

Afrihosts' cost R80 for 3GB unshaped, but I think for blops, the mweb account will be beter.
