lol.... I get worse FPS & Lag now and I get the connection probs, she's playing fine (well with the normal lag spikes etc)

At least you can log into the game, one of our clan mates also has 2 copies but can only play one copy at a time, after logging a query they replied & told him to get another ip for his second copy as he will not be able to play 2 copies on 1 ip.
hopefully all will be fixed after the promised patch.

That definitely needs to be fixed!!! Dumbest thing ever if true! Seeriaaas what would the point be?

BTW
I see more SA servers in wager matches than normal ?!?! i get anywhere between 2 & 8 SA servers. Eish ... getting irritated. Alltho I played my first HC game, and that was OK! (besides slight lag)
 
guys, does anyone know where i can by COD BO Hardened Edition for PS3?? Kalahari and Take 2 is out of stock and I cant access BT games from work :confused:
 
Is it possible to group up with friends and then join a server together as you could do in MW2?

I mean, so that you can play on the same side etc.

AFAIK you can invite friends to servers etc. You just need to add them to your Steam friends list.
 
Login Issue

Hi guys

Im getting insane with login problems to steam. I have reinstalled steam and cod twice now just to be able to log into steam to get into BO. I have not set any portfowards or anything, but then do i need to if the steam updates and logs in when i do fresh install. Running windows 7 64bit system with mweb 4mb.

Are you guys experiencing problems logging into STEAM?

WHAT CAN I DO?
 
I play one game - get disconnected. Play one game - lag in my moer in. Play one game - fail to load the following map (need to restart a new map on a new server)

MW2 had it's problems but at this stage it looks like UT compared to this ****
 
There has been an update rolled over to the servers, they need to be restarted for it to take affect tho... I played quite nicely today!
 
hmm after i did that thing stonecold said it said "incomplete installation of black ops " then tries to reinstall...

seems when i put it as read-only it does that.. changed it from non read only and its ok now

yeah also got that. just tested it and not one bit of lag. i dunno if its the thing stonecold told me or the patch now though... although i would have thought the modifications i made to the cfg file were overwritten after i turned read only off
 
It's a FIX! :)

Wow I'm flabbergasted. 8mb download dries the tears from tens of thousands of disgruntled, die-hard BO fans. Me included. After the update my lag is 90% better. Wooohoooooooo!.

Now I wonder what little config change 8megs could've done. I think they'd probably be too ashamed to say.

that 8mb update is taking forever to install!!! Seriously. Well over 30minutes now on 8mb 0_o
 
Today will my first game. I notice my Black Ops was updated this morning. I left steam online. I connected to a local server and constant 70ms. Finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
