Think to Roma?
Thats what they're saying.
With a striker moving in our direction.

Wow, I will be so amped if this were true- Destro is brilliant.
Don't even care if he's brilliant as long as Torres is gone I'm happy.

Why? Wages too high?
Eto to Liverpool?
Nah they just signed Balotelli
I highly doubt Chelsea will get Destro... he is Roma's new Totti ain't no way Roma would take Torres over Destro
I'd prefer we take Torres then Eto off your hands![]()
Well, Eto'o would only cost you wages, and he scores more than Torres...
But you guys have Super Mario now, so should be fine. Cracking signing.
I think we played really well as a team today.
This team is really good and I would imagine them getting much better as the the season progress....however, they did have quite a few wasted chances at the goal box, almost as if being over eager.....Leicester also missed an almost given goal, but hats off to Courtois with excellent goalkeeping. Looking forward to see how they develop furtherWe made it hard for ourselves though. But the sort of performance Leicester put on, would have been enough to beat us last season. In the end, we grew into the game and saw it out comfortably. Costa is continuing with the level of consistency shown last season, but he will face much harder defences than this.
Oh, and Oscar's through ball to Ivanovic for the first goal- top class. That boy is well underrated.

I think this will be Terry's last season for us imo.Yeah, we wasted a lot of opportunities, and Leicester had a few good ones of their own (not to mention pegging us back for large spells). Which is why I felt that this is the exact sort of game that we would have lost last season.
The gap at times between defence and midfield was huge, particularly in the first half. It's a problem with the front six playing pressing football and the defence playing deep. As good as Terry is in our defence, I think he hampers the system due to his lack of mobility, and why we still look a bit suspect from direct attacks at times.
But that's OK for now, it's something that will be worked on as the season progresses.

It's time to start looking for a replacement.
