Di Marzio has said that we might pay Torres a severance to make it easier for Milan to get him. If that happens we will be in for highly rated Italian striker Destro.

Tancredi palmeri (i.e. take with a pinch of salt) has said that Torres agent has said they are confident of a move to Milan.

Looks like the deal is done and all that is left is for Torres and Chelsea to discuss severance.

On a side note, why can't we have cool kits like this one:

Still undecided about this kit.
Maybe a bit over the top for me.

Check out their Adidas boots.

Yeah I think it's nice in a way. Reminds me too much of these Tapout shirts. Not the look of the shirt but the guy who will wear it...

I wonder how difficult it would be to get one of those tickets for the away game to Schalke... mmm

Anyways, talk of Atletico also interested in Torres.
What are these teams smoking???

Plus Chelsea have been investing smartly in order for the club to be a successful business.
If that were to happen right now it would be a problem I would think. But in 3 or 4 years I think it would not be a problem at all.

Re this weekend:

Everton have won four of their last five Barclays Premier League home games against Chelsea.

Chelsea to move for Remy

Chelsea are set to move for QPR striker Loic Remy after missing out on Mattia Destro. The Blues are keen to replace Fernando Torres who is set to move to AC Milan with Roma unwilling to sell Destro to Jose Mourinho's side.

Source: Daily Star

Yes take with a massive milkshake of salt but in it's defense...
1. Roma have come out more than once saying Desto is not going anywhere.
2. Chelsea would not even consider letting Torres leave if they were'nt sure they had at least 2 targets and were 100% sure that they would land one of those two.
3. We all know Remy has been looking to depart QPR and is said to have turned down a move to Newcastle recently as well. Maybe he's expecting a move for him from a bigger club.

Official: Torres to Milan

2 Year loan!

http://www1.skysports.com/football/...do-torres-set-to-have-a-medical-with-ac-milan

Mourinho did confirm earlier on Friday that one of his foreign players would have to be sold to meet Premier League regulations, but he refused at the time to reveal any further details.

He said he had not spoken to Torres about his desire for a new challenge, but admitted Chelsea could move quickly if Torres, who has two years left on his contract, wanted to leave the club.

The move is dependent on personal terms being agreed and the medical being passed.

"What we have clear is that we need three strikers to face the season,” Mourinho said earlier on Friday. “He is one of them.
