Well, Ferguson's antics are related to what happens on the football pitch... he can hardly have any influence on it seeing as he's 60 odd years of age. As to why I flew off the handle is because there is a thread about Terry's antics somewhere in this forum - if you wanted to continue bashing him... dig it up and have a go. what you are doing now is about as welcome as Cantera's frequent excursions into the Arsenal thread. It's nothing personal, you're just being a prat.
 
Waahahaha, Yossi is a Blue. His agent must have excellent contacts... though I can see in some way why we opted for him...

That's kind of the point. I made an innocuous comment about the club, and you 'flew off the handle', and attacked me personally. You don't see United supporters bitching like you when other footies call them Manscum or Manure.

You did make it personal. Grow up.

1. Well, seeing as Ferguson is the manager, what he says after the game has to do with the actual game... it's not like I was referring to his personal life. Please use common sense when replying to anything on a forum. Thank you.

2. Nothing wrong with it as far as I can see.

3. You didn't make an innocuous comment about the club, you attacked a player based on what goes on in his personal life. When there is already a thread to specifically deal with that. Are you starting to understand your Cantera-like bullheadedness to all of this or do I actually have to paint you a picture? Had you said something along the lines of "you bought your titles, you suck, you have no history" my reply would have been completely different.

So our squad has 26 players, 27 with Ramires. Of course, 6 of these are under the age of 21 so there shouldn't be a problem. Of those 6, 4 are foreigners who have been at Chelsea for over three years and with Mancienne int he squad we will fill up that 8 player quota no problems.
 
Not bad for the opening day, but I'd keep the excitement down til the 10th match day at least...
 
Absolutely gutted. Sam Hutchinson has announced his retirement from professional football. He might not have been a big name in the world of footy but the lad had bundles of talent and I reckon he looked like a young John Terry from a leadership perspective. I was seriously hoping he'd be a backup captain for us in about a year or two. However, his chronic knee injuries have gotten the better of him. Think of Ledley King and you'll have a fair idea of what he had to contend with. It's so sad to see him go like this. :(
 
Yeah - but our defense leaves a heck of a lot to be desired... Hopefully everything is sorted out by the time our harder matches arrive. Lampard needs a swift kick in the arse. Was utter crap tonight.

EDIT: Only another 120 odd goals to beat the spuds' record...

Apparently Jacob Mellis will be following Slobodan Rajkovic to Vitesse Arnheim for loan spell.
 
Same side as last week, except for Ivanovic who is out with a back injury (I think)... Ramires on the bench - I'm hoping Sturridge, Ramires and Van Aanholt make an appearance.
 
Yoh - Lamps has had the worst game I've seen in a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooong while... Funnily enough - Ramires' arrival has helped Mikel to up his game and Lamps to drop it. Hopefully he gets out of this rut in the second half.
 
Ah well... at least I called the scoreline :)

Not bad considering the physical nature of Stoke and the amount of men back defending. 3/3 Good Job boys!!!
 
Was good that we managed to get past the bus, but Lamps really worries me, he is playing like shyte!

Well, he did have an injury... though at least we have some cover in Ramires. Maybe Mikel will be given a more advanced role following his recent performances until Lamps is in top form again.
